Description:
KEM PR-5268 corrosion inhibitor is comprise d of complex
amines and imidazolines in a petroleum solvent.
Application:
KEM PR-5268 is an oil soluble blend used to control corrosion
and fouling in gas plants, refineries, transportation lines, and barges. It is
also effective as an atmospheric corrosion inhibitor. It control corrosion and
fouling caused by hydrogen sulfide, hydrochloric acid, carbon dioxide, organic
acids and small amounts of oxygen. KEM PR-5268 has excellent thermal and
oxidative stability and is typically dosed at 5-50 PPM.
KEM PR-5268 has a broad applicability for corrosion
protection in oil wells, gas wells, refineries, gas plants, pipelines and
barges.
KEM PR-5268 can be applied in the following refinery systems:
-
Crude stills
-
Catalytic crackers
-
Depentanizers
-
Overheads
-
Debutanizers
