Purpose

WSB OXYTREAT is volatile, liquid, concentrated solution of diethylhydroxylamine (DEHA). It is used to remove dissolved oxygen from boiler, closed loop, and other industrial waters.

It minimizes oxygen pitting and corrosion potential. WSB OXYTREAT is designed for use in many types of steam or hot water boiler systems. 

Advantages 

WSB OXYTREAT is an all organic formula designed to replace hydrazine, or hydrazine substitutes as oxygen scavenger in boiler systems.

Other advantages of WSB OXYTREAT are :

  • It does not contribute TDS to boiler water.
  • It can easily be controlled by simple analytical procedures. 
  • WSB OXYTREAT is a volatile amine product. That means that the residual of WSB OXYTREAT carried out to the steam, not only eliminates oxygen, but alters also the pH.So low pH condensate corrosion is minimized.
